Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

I use Optimizely Content Management System on daily basis for our content. One of a business problems the product addresses is how we personalized the content for our members whether they are young soldier, retired officers. Every content we have need to target certain group of members. We just launched a new event website on CMS

Pros

  • Content personalization
  • Data tracking
  • Pages, block, particularly componentization
  • Content recommendation

Cons

  • easier to use secondary database along with the main database
  • redirecting/URL manager. This is very useful when it comes to broken links detection
  • better connecting between Idio and CMS
  • We definitely see increasing traffics
We have Content Recommendation System and Insight. We use Idio for suggesting relevant articles on our sites
It makes our editor's lives much easier
We actually migrate from Ektron to Episerver and it took a while for the migration
very easy to use and build
