Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Feature Experimentation

The big problems really revolve around technology and script interference. Ad blockers have bitten us recently also the flash of replaced content. However those are relatively minor issues in the overall scheme of things.

Pros

  • Quickly provided insight
  • Tangible metrics revealed
  • Demonstrated losers are just as important as winners

Cons

  • GA4 integration
  • Highly positive. Recently 14% engagements in the mid funnel
It’s can a lot to digest at times. Onboarding LOE is for real.

Mainly the reliability around the need for cookies and the legal push to remove them is a bit scary. I wish there was a way around this. (Not just for Optimizily)
