Overall Satisfaction with Oracle BI Foundation Suite

It is attached as a reporting tool to our MRP software and it is being used across the whole company. Departments such as purchasing, finance, sales and manufacturing take advantage of the Oracle BI features on a daily or weekly basis. It helps us to create KPIs and sophisticated dashboards for real time visibility and to allow for making more intelligent business decisions. Remote users and traveling employees take advantage of the of the great reporting tools due to the mobile version of the Oracle BI software. Upper management makes important high level decisions based on the results of the reporting coming from this tool.

It came with the software we use. It was recommended by the ERP software vendor.
Oracle BI Foundation Suite is a great tool for metric and modern reporting. It's easy to use and user friendly, and has excellent data consolidation features. It is well suited for a large number of transactions or records (likely big or medium sized companies). Based on the cost of the software I would not recommend it for a small database with a reduced number of transactions.
