Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

We are evaluating IAAS solutions, and we were interested in Oracle Cloud.
  • High-end machines: they are very fast and store data very fast.
  • Fast storage
  • The support is terrible: for the implementation process, if there is a problem, it can take days and multiple calls to get an answer—even when you have a mission-critical issue.
  • The response time to get an issue addressed is terrible.
  • The cost is lesser compared to Amazon.
  • Anyway, the implementation process is a nightmare because of the lack of interest of the support team.
I have evaluated Amazon Cloud. They are a lot better regarding support. Oracle has the best solution but just needs to get a better support team.

It would be a terrific solution as long as you get committed engineers. Nowadays, you feel lonely and abandoned when there is an issue regarding the implementation. You are not a priority and it takes days to get an answer or a solution.
