Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Data Integrator

There are many products that do extract, transform, and load on data sets. It is a core task for any data engineer or data analyst. Alongside Oracle Cloud, we use Oracle Data Integrator to run ETL processes on our data. We use it widely to maintain our business intelligence systems.
  • High-volume, batch load ETL processes
  • Data transformations before data warehousing
  • Flexible big-data extractions
  • More easily used in other clouds/platforms
  • More features in UI
  • Updated flow of ETL processes in UI
  • Cleaner data loaded into BI platform
  • Refined data inside data warehouse
  • High-quality reporting using dashboards after ETL from Oracle Data Integrator
I have used Trifacta Google Data Prep quite a bit. We use Google Cloud Platform across our organization. The tools are very comparable in what they offer. I would say Data Prep has a slight edge in usability and a cleaner UI, but both of the tools have comparable toolsets.
