Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua

Oracle Eloqua is being used by our organization to support our B2B marketing automation efforts. Eloqua helps us automate many of our processes and allows us to be more efficient, allowing our team to effectively ensure we are growing our marketing program at the enterprise level. Eloqua is used throughout our entire B2B efforts within the organization.
  • Eloqua does great at addressing complex processes with great flexibility for creativity within the process.
  • Eloqua's campaign canvas allows clear visibility to visualize the marketing campaign to ensure a complete and correct workflow prior to implementing the campaign.
  • Eloqua does great at allowing a clear method of building landing pages and emails if your marketing plan focuses on html style emails. The UI is clear and gives multiple means of reviewing your project prior to publishing.
  • Eloqua could do better at integrations. There are limited app providers compared to other automation platforms but if you can develop a connection via their API or only have a need for a limited amount of integration this is not as much of an issue.
  • Eloqua could do better on their drag and drop/WYSIWYG email and landing page designers. This is a roadmap update for Oracle so should eventually be resolved but there is currently limitations to this builders.
  • Eloqua could do better at reporting. Their current primary reporting outlet is an old micro-strategies style reporting interface that can be confusing if you are not used to it.
Eloqua scales great. It allows you to quickly grow as your data base grows and adding new campaigns or supplementing older campaigns with new content is easy (assuming you set your campaign up to scale). With the correct planning we have been able to grow our marketing program significantly while ensuring we are keeping up with new marketing trends.
  • Oracle Eloqua has been instrumental in allowing us to connect the dots on all of our marketing efforts to effectively track and monitor the ROI on not only Eloqua but ensuring visibility on ROI of other platforms as well. This has been vital in supplementing lack of ROI visibility we potentially could have with other platforms.
  • Based on the length of time our organization has had Eloqua it is clear to be able to see how easy we are able to see the ROI and how well the platform has performed for us.
  • Eloqua has been a vital aspect to the organization and departments throughout the org are not only familiar with the product and how it supports us but understand the value the tool gives the company.
Eloqua is the main marketing automation platform I have used. I have done thorough evaluations of other platforms/competitors but the value of Eloqua over the competitors was clear. The only other tools I have used were individuals platforms that only do small pieces of what Eloqua and often not nearly as good. It would be hard to compare it directly to the main competitors like Pardot or Marketo due to my personal lack of hands on experience with those platforms but taking a deep look into all of the features will allow you to see the value that Eloqua has to offer.
Eloqua is great for large enterprises with technical staff that is not afraid to get into the technical aspect of digital marketing. If you are expecting the platform to just market for you or give you a few buttons to click when you want it to do something you may have some trouble. If you have a basic understanding of HTML and are technical enough to think through different solutions for problems your organization is facing, you should do fine with Eloqua.
