Across the organization and multiple BUs
  • Integrated workflows within the system - allow seamless flow of information
  • Based on industry best practices - allows clients to minimize customizations
  • Reporting
  • Mobile interfaces and approvals
  • Intuitive and well designed UI for end-users
  • Industry specific solutions (ex. Media, Financials Services) can be improved and integrated
  • Oracle Payroll (global)
  • Hyperion users should get a easier path to move to cloud
  • Business case (4-5 years) has helped client CFO organization to move forward quickly
  • Entry level cost to move to Oracle Cloud is reasonable, through clients worry about the implementation timelines, costs and risks of undertaking the journey
  • Most clients have been recent in past few years - benefits achieved longer term are not documented yet - though initial process improvements are clear to clients
Pricing, enhanced UI and reporting, market reputation of oracle and reliability of the breadth of offerings - these were key considerations for clients. Ease of implementation and finding the right skills in the market - this was another factor considered by clients.
Inventory and warehouse management for manufacturing industries - oracle SCM is well suited for these.
Financials and Order management function is also well integrated. HCM stack (across core HR, talent, benefits) and CX stack - needs due diligence for fitment since this is comprised of multiple modules/products within the oracle stack. Similarly the industry solutions require parallel assessment
