We run all our mission-critical databases on the Exadata platform. It provides us the extreme reliability and availability to achieve our extremely high SLA's.

Availability.
Performance.
Security.

Cons

Time to provision - It takes a whole village to provision a brand new Exadata. Would be great if the time to provision could be decreased.

Return on Investment

Lower Opex cost.
Simplified patching over other systems - this has saved us weeks of time!
Unified control - we can manage the database top to bottom. We don't have to have multiple teams managing this, one team can do everything.

Likelihood to Recommend

Exadata is a machine built to run databases and it does it extremely well. It helps in driving the overall Opex cost lower without compromising uptime and performance.
