Overall Satisfaction with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

Oracle JD Edwards is used across the company for Order to Cash and Procure to Pay plus Financial Systems. It is the backbone of the entire business.
  • Financial System Management
  • Sales Order Management
  • Manufacturing and Procurement Systems
  • EDI, it does not have a good mechanism of integrated EDI orders with the system and customization and external process are required.
  • Warehouse management
  • There is not built in Transportation Management system
  • Not a good end to end supply chain management system
  • Can't really comment it because we are still on very old release.
  • There is major improvement in the forth coming releases which will have major impact on ROI
Our JD Edwards was implemented 10 years ago and I was not part of the decision making
It is most cost effective ERP system that provides excellent UI, and the ability to integrate and orchestrate other application to fill the gaps. There have been great enhancements in the latest release focused on user experience.
