Overall Satisfaction with ParishSOFT
ParishSOFT provides us the opportunity to use the system to maintain the level of contributions each family make. WE are also able to manage all of events both free and paid events. The system processes may different types of contribution methods, from bank draws to credit and debit charges.
Our major issue is that ParishSOFT does not allow us to utilize it for outside events in charging for various items. We end needing to utilize outside services for these payment types. This increases our costs both administrative and another third party vendor payment.

Pros
- Excellent data base for the accounting of money at a family level by payment.
- The ability to create forms allowing for individuals to signup for and pay for sponsored events
- Easy to set the system up to meet the needs of your organization
Cons
- Capable of taking payments for outside events
- Facility and logistic management function
- Robust database
- Easy to organize and fit to the needs of the business
- Very little training on the system required
- We do not measure on an ROI basis
- Cost savings are driven by its ability to adapt to our business model, making it more efficient for usage
- Primarily soft type dollars
We continue to be happy with ParishSOFT and see not need to analyze or fix what is not broken.

Using ParishSOFT
10 - Allows for the documenting by individual or family the different types of payments they may make. the payments could be for an event, contributions or the purchasing of merchandise.
It is flexible enough to allow your members to pay by check, credit card, on-line payments, etc.

4 - Individual needs to be very logical and understand how ParishSoft is a sub ledger for our general ledger and other systems we have interfaced with ParishSoft. Needs to understand the transactional flow of money.

- Detail records providing each user the year-end information needed to file their tax returns
- Ad hoc reporting capabilities for special analysis for the business activity
- The on-line payment system is extremely flexible and allows for event planning and associated payment and the ease for our user to contribute on a recurring basis. We receive a little over 50% of our contributions on a recurring basis through the on-line payment system.

- User can create an account allowing them to see the demographic information of other users
- Allow us to utilize the system for outside events, for managing the credit card and cash transactions.

They are all equally important for us. The system is very flexible and ebbs and flows with our users needs. It is a sub-ledger system for our accounting system and is very user friendly.
Not sure I would change my process. When we made the decision to utilize ParishSoft I had an existing understanding of our needs and ParishSoft covered most of them and the ones it was not able to do, we developed work arounds to satisfy our needs.

We did not. The staff skill sets allow them to work the system to our benefit.

- Since we are cloud based, we ever see any major user interface changes.
- ParishSoft is consistent with their approach, very few changes
- Currently meets our needs as is
