Overall Satisfaction with Patriot Software

I use Patriot Software to process the payrolls and associated taxes of several of my clients. It offers payroll for multiple clients at a reasonable price.

Pros

  • New client setup is made simple.
  • Payroll processing is quick and easy.
  • Easy to reprint and regenerate pay stubs and reports.

Cons

  • Setting up a bank account to pay employees thru ACH is cumbersome.
  • Doesn't have the option to print multiple pay stubs for a specific employee at once. Have to re-print each pay stub individually.
  • Provides added service to offer to clients.
  • Added revenue stream.
I found Patriot Software to offer the best price and service package for me to be able to process payroll for a number of my smaller clients while still allowing me to make a profit on the added revenue.
Patriot Software works best for practices looking to start offering payroll to small clients. You can upgrade to have your payroll taxes filed for an additional monthly charge, however, reporting makes it pretty simple to file on your own.
