I failed to properly set up a new employees direct deposit so the check was mailed to our office. Our owner put it in a stack thinking it was of no importance and she would open it later. After a few weeks of the employee not getting his check, I contacted our rep and she stopped payment on that check immediately and issued a new check via direct deposit. I text the employee about the new check and he said the check was found and he deposited it the day before. So I immediately called the rep back to cancel the transaction which was within the 15 mins timeframe. A couple days later his bank reported the check was stopped and the amount was deducted from his account. Another call to the rep to again direct deposit which she happily did. All this to say, our rep was very cheerful and happy to help.
