Overall Satisfaction with pCloud

We use pCloud as a cloud storage. We also use the synchronization feature for two-way synchronization between cloud and local machine, and shared folders.

Pros

  • pCloud Drive works well

Cons

  • In my experience, Synchronization on macOS is flawed
  • In my experience, the support is unresponsive
  • As long as it worked, it was great.
  • Once we ran into issues, it became a nightmare for us, and we had no other option but to find a new provider.
In our experience, Synchronization does not work on macOS.
No support for us, i.e., we have not received any response after multiple inquiries.

Initially, we were happy with pCloud. The pricing is attractive - especially, the life-time subscriptions. For about two years, we did not experience any issues.

Recently, the synchronization stopped working. After repeatedly setting up everything from scratch, pCloud started to synchronize, but then slowed down to a upload/download speed of a few KB. And, the speed would not pick up again leaving many files unsynchronized. Now, strangely, the service did not react to our inquiries. So, we have to switch to another provider.
