Overall Satisfaction with Periscope Data

We use Periscope for visualising and tracking all data of our production database, CRM system, sales effort, and accounting. Combining all databases, in one intuitive environment for all our employees.

Pros

  • Easy filtering
  • Rapid queries

Cons

  • Requires knowledge of at least SQL
  • It has definitely allowed us to reduce our cost-to-serve and administrative costs.
Sharing of visualisations and rapid prototypen/building, ease of use. UX is 20x better.
Well suited:
Well structured production DB with a lot granularity and depth of data. Allows for rapid testing/prototyping

Less suited:
Combining different databases. UX is more error prone and tedious.
