Overall Satisfaction with Pixabay

I use Pixabay to source stock images for marketing - mostly for blog posts but sometimes for presentations and other materials. Being free, it's one of two stock image sites I search first to see if I can find a suitable image before resorting to paid options.
  • Nice layout
  • Good licenses on the images themselves
  • Very accurate search
  • Easy to use
  • Quantity of images for some of the niche search times - I appreciate it's not a paid site but I often feel it's more likely I'll find what I need on a paid stock site.
  • Accurate search
  • Confidence in the licenses being correct
  • Reduced spend on stock images.
  • More visually appealing content marketing to generate leads.
It's definitely one of the best free options and while the image results aren't always as good as Depositphotos, that's understandable as it's free. 8 times out of 10 I'd say I find a suitable image on Pixabay.

I was actually creating a blog post today where I needed a stock image - I did a search for 'typewriter' as that was relevant to my content and found an image on the first page. That worked well. There have been times I haven't been able to find a suitable image, for example, I was looking for an image of someone in a suit that was too big for them (niche, I know!) and it returned no results.
