Overall Satisfaction with Portainer
I use portainer daily to manage multiple docker machines locally and hosted in cloud. Thanks to portainer we can deploy containers easily and much faster than normally, just opening a simple web interface instead of SSHing to the hosts each time we need to make a simple change to one of our running containers or deploy new ones.
Pros
- Simplify management of multiple docker instances
- Makes it easy to deploy new containers and stacks
- Shows everything you need to know about your docker instances in an easily understandable dashboard

- Could report deploying errors in a more detailed way
- Could use stats regarding aggregated usage of host resources by all the containers
- Makes docker easier to manage
- Deployment of containers or stacks with portainer is simple and fast
- Saves us time compared to the normal CLI deployment
- Simplifies the management od changes and updates to containers
- i can save a lot of time managing new deployments and updates, meaning I can do more in less time
