Overall Satisfaction with Portainer
Portainer is used to deploy microservice applications to edge devices inside of operating rooms. It is critical to our operations to be able to quickly react to any issues and deploy updates to a fleet of devices around the world. Portainer gives us the exact capability to do this effectively.
- Manages software deployments of edge devices
- Provides organization of device fleet
- Provides ability to manage Kubernetes deployments
- UI is sometimes a bit tricky to understand
- Error logs from deployments could be easier to view through the UI
- Customization of Edge Docker compose deployments to include Docker Secrets or environment files would be nice
- Deployment of Docker images to edge devices
- Integration to AW ECR
- Single sign on with Office365
- Too early as initial product using Portainer has not been offered yet
- Ease of use
