Overall Satisfaction with Portainer
I use Portainer to manage containerized services on for my personal projects and home lab. I have deployed it on Lindode/akamai and AWS as well as locally.
I spend my day job administering Windows and Linux servers. I appreciate that Portainer lets me bring up my stack of services and monitor them from any web browser I choose.

- Lightweight
- Fast to bring online
- Visually appealing
- Easy to explain to non technical users
- I'm not sure if sso is supported
- No cost for personal use
- Being able to add remote environments
- This lets me spend more time doing what I want rather than doing my day job after hours. 👌
- My comfort with containers has improved
- Hyper-V and VMware ESXi
Portainer is free and a lot easier to live with than Hyper-V
