Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace
[It's being used] To manage product development and production. We use the Gantt chart feature and then split activities into cards that we manage on the boards. It's used by a small team of 3 people. In English. Across 2 countries.
- Good marriage between seeing the full picture using Gantt charts, then diving into the details to execute
- The Gantt chart user experience and the user interface isn't reliable at all. Dates sometimes don't work. It only accepts one date format. Keyboard shortcuts are lacking. The scrolling between the activity names and the timeline isn't always in sync. Changes sometimes don't take effect until we refresh. Two people working on the timeline in parallel is a mess.
- There's no undo button and the since the timeline is very easily broken by a wrong mouse click and wrong dates entered, it could take half and hour or more to identify and fix any mistake.
- Minimal. Any Gantt chart software would've done. And one that's more robust would've been less of a pain.
- It's overpriced relative to the less-than-robust interface.
