Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used as the primary storage solution for all departments and core systems. We were at capacity with our old storage system and this has helped with relieving the congestion and utilizing the flash speeds has been great.

Pros and Cons

Extremely simple to manage.
The tech support when you call is amazing at fixing your issue in a timely manner.

I think that the initial system requirements checks could be an automated process so that you don't have to check the 50 best practices.

Alternatives Considered

Dell EMC Unity

Our previous solution was also flash but had nowhere near the amount of speed and usability that FlashArray has.

Likelihood to Recommend

Pure Storage does extremely well with a simple approach to the management of arrays. It was nice that a tech came on-site for the install, but it was something that could have been done remotely.
