Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Red Falcon as our backend system to run our business. Our day-to-day sales are primarily government and online. Red Falcon was used to process transactions on our website and keep track of our financials.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It has very simple tools.
If you need a basic web store and don't need punchouts they manage that.

Cons

In our experience, their customer service takes a long time to respond. It feels as though the support team is small, and often, they outright tell us they can't do anything about our issues.
We needed punchouts for a decent number of customers, and the pricing was outrageous, in my opinion.

Return on Investment

They made it simple to put orders in, so we were able to get the orders and efficiently finish them.

I don't have the financials to compare on this, so I'm not sure if the cost would be good, but if you run a simple business that doesn't work much with schools and government, you should be fine. However, in my opinion, if you need a lot of punchouts, stay away from them; I think they will bleed you dry.
