We run a multitude of business applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers

Pros

  • A stable Operation System
  • applying OS patches
  • Easy deployment of servers

Cons

  • Major release upgrades are still a lot of work
  • Easier sssd user and group configuration support
  • selinux is still a burden to enable without major application issues
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers are easier to maintain and support than competing vendors
