100% Sage Accounting Fan

Sage Accounting is well suited for most SMME's especially companies with services, companies that does stock as well however there is a limit, depends on what you need for eg. if you need more of a CRM, sending reminders, assigning job, creating job cards from the quote with all the items that form that service, then Sage Accounting is a bit limited in that regards.

Sage is all I need and it works perfectly for my needs, no need for anything else, any other more new or complicated software. I am happy with Sage and so are all my clients. It does what we need it to do and the support is also great, thank you.

The online training on Sage University was very well put together, the navigation through Sage University as well as the actual course that I took was easy. The information given in the training was well worth reading through and understood Sage more in dept. Before doing the program, I taught myself to use Sage and learnt over the time.

Never wait in a long que before they answer and when they answer they always solve my query.

Sage overall usability is extremely nice. It is easily understandable, the words are not complicated, if you are looking to find a customer invoice - you go to "customers" and "invoices", it is straight forward, they don't use the word "debtors" and "creditors" which some people have to go google first if it would be your customer or is it your supplier - everything is called exactly what it is which makes it easy to navigate and find what you need and easy to explain to your customers.

You can use Sage in your company for various aspects/positions such as bookkeepers, invoicing clerks, accountant, purchasing etc. Everyone can have their own user login and permissions can be set that specific people can do specific jobs without being able to access other peoples progress or accounts of the company.

Sage always works, it has 2 or 3 times in the past, bombed out and that at crucial moments like on month end when statements need to go out to customers, VAT needs to be submitted and financials deadlines however, it is not a regular issue and has not happened in a long time. I understand that things break, accidents happen and unforeseeable issues appear out of nowhere, as long as it is fixed and measures are put in place that it doesn't happen again. And Sage has done that, they have apologised and ensured it doesn't happen again. Errors will happen again in the future, and I am sure that Sage will handle it swiftly as their customers always comes first. Moving to another company is not an option when something like this happens, it happens to other companies too.

Performance is top notch, if it is not, it is probably your wi-fi connection. It has happened that pages load slowly because of an error on Sage side but almost never. Overall reports load fine, the site is fast, navigation is fine. I have a client that has so many invoices, it is slow or gets stuck when you try to load a report for a whole year but it is just too many invoices, it makes sense. Just take 2 report for 6 months and combine them, its not an issue for me. I am happy with Sage Accounting's performance.
