Overall Satisfaction with Sage ERP X3
Sage X3 is our one-stop shop for order processing, purchasing and receiving, stock control, accounts payable and receivable, and financials. Implemented nearly two years ago, Sage ERP X3 automated many of the processes we were completing via spreadsheets, building departmental efficiencies through the streamlining of processes while securing our information in one centralized location. Eliminating many of our paper processes has sped up purchasing and receiving and providing an easily auditable trail of information for years to come.
- The user interface has everything you would expect and in practical locations so you do not have to hunt and peck for the items you are looking for
- Drill-down from GL to submodules works seamlessly
- Easy import and export of data
- The software is relatively easy to manage
- Complications in configuration. Had to use a third party vendor to help us customize the system so we could better use it within the organization. This added additional expense
- Some error messages are in French. If you aren't French, or can't speak French, this makes it pretty hard to troubleshoot
- If you want to customize reports, you need to know Crystal Reporting (at least for the version I am using)
- Created efficiencies within the organization.
- Centralized data input and retrieval.
- Can be an expensive undertaking for an SMB.
Unfortunately, the product was purchased before I began working at the organization. I am unsure what other products they may have reviewed before purchasing Sage ERP X3.
