Overall Satisfaction with Sales Performance Management solutions from SAP SuccessFactors

We utilize Sales Performance Management (SPM) to handle incentive payouts and reporting for over 3,500 payees across 10+ unique business groups. We are also heavy users of Workflow, which drives our discretionary payout and approval processes. We have been using SPM Incentive Management and Workflow for over 10 years and have found it to be a very powerful solution to scale best in class solutions across our enterprise. The flexibility of the rule engine specifically is something we rely on heavily and have found to be a very valuable attribute of the solution.

  • Enable users to complete support functions independently (BO Group creation, migrations, etc.)

  • Plan communication
We have put the customization and configurability of SPM to the test within our organization and have rarely, if ever, found an incentive scenario it could not handle.
There is a learning curve, but it's overall fairly intuitive.

Sales Performance Management (SPM) Incentive Management is great for traditional sales plans (Seller selling widgets A, B, C). However, this is not our specific use case and we have still found success with the tool, which speaks to it's flexibility and overall capability. Workflow is also a great and underutilized tool that provides endless capabilities for streamlining anything from the most basic of tasks to complex, multi-faceted processes.
