Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

SAP Ariba offers a solution to track our RFPs in a helpful manner

  • more comparison of proponents
  • sometimes proponents attach documents that are 'missing' when the information is viewed
  • I've received so many complaints from proponents (over many RFPs) that they cannot use Ariba, it is not intuitive. Perhaps create user guides that are readily available for proponents who are less computer savvy
  • navigation to the RFP
  • when i first started using Ariba, it took far too long to navigate it, I think user guides are required and perhaps someone with a user experience lens can take a look at the navigation, since it really isn't that intuitive. After using the tool over several RFPs I can say that I am 5/10 competent but acknowledge that I do not know what I do not know
As a new user to this tool, it is not intuitive. Unless you have someone walking you through it step-by-step (which is a rarity in the org context these days) you have a steep learning curve

RFP tracking is fine, the system is hard to manage when there are more than 3 proponents to evaluate
