I am still new in SAP Business Technology Platform usage and trying to explore more. From the first look it seems like SAP applies effort to make information available for the users

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The SAP Business Technology Platform is used as the platform for mobile services based on cloud foundry and as middleware between Azure IdP for SAP Asset manager application. Additionally, the SAP Business Technology Platform provides a native way to connect to the local installation of SAP S4HANA. We are still discovering other opportunities for the platform and services, such as Mobile Start and etc.

Pros and Cons

Has good reliability during past months had no issues
Has good integration with Azure
Has cloud foundry capabilities

User experience when browsing spaces under subaccounts would be good to improve as it is not obvious how to get to a particular subscribed service tab
Search functionality at the platform, such finding launchpad
In general, by IMHO the SAP Business Technology Platform has a lot of enclosures, when you go somewhere you need to go inside and a few levels down, and sometimes you are redirected to another service

Made easier to connect applications within the SAP ecosystem
Launchpad subscription which is a part of SAP Business Technology Platform made easy to find all applications
API in Mobile services allowed to integrate with external DevOps solution Azure DevOps

Usability

As I noticed, there are a lot of sublevels when searching or navigating to some tab or service. Additionally, sometimes the system redirects you to another service, like Mobile service, which looks like not a part of SAP Business Technology Platform. In general, would be good to have les nested levels and one window approach.

Of course, the SAP Business Technology Platform as a native service well works with SAP products. Thus for the companies who are supposed to use SAP services in the business processes need to leverage. The SAP Business Technology Platform advantages as it is the base that joints all SAP services. In the long term, what I can see is the SAP Business Technology Platform will have more and more services and can compete with the others Cloud platform competitors.
