Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for building applications and interfaces related to our SAP backend system, which mainly is finance and customer services. I work in a Dutch Grid company.

Pros

Disclosing standard APIs
Standard Fiori apps, to be used right away
Clean core - tables, etc.

Cons

One integrated user experience with other tools, we have a best of breed strategy
Not changing the technology so often, for example Integration Suite
Migration tools

Return on Investment

Keeping clean core, so upgrades are easier
Developments should be faster, not proven yet
Attracting workforce who wants to work with new technology

Usability

We also use different tools, integration is still not working out as we wish.

Standard integration with SAP data, standard apps on SAP data. Our systems seems more flexible and easier to use for developers.
