Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

Integration complexity is solved with SAP Business Technology Platform. Data driven insights with platform that enables to connect different devices, sensors , machines for integration in complex environments. We used SAP Business Technology Platform for data management across various sectors within [...] and from different SAP systems too. It helps to connect and link all the systems and make the information available at a common platform with access to necessary information.

  • Conneting to different servers with different devices is quite a challenge
  • Troubleshooting for any firewall setup must be more easier
  • Good to connect devices that are not compatible to SAP but linked to other third part API.

Internal IoT developed within Merck as part of one of our project which is still running and widely use. Using the same model we have developed many others as well and all turned out very cost effective and reducing downtime and increasing overall effectiveness of all the tools linked and sources for information.
Yes, there was a time when we faced challenges with SAP Business Technology Platform and we do connected with SAP Business Technology Platform community and they helped us in guiding how we shall proceed with the approach chieving our expected output amd it really helped specially for data migration and transformations. It was a great experience.
I have seen but not used the use cases - Maintenance prediction for some package related process in one of our manufacturing sites in Germamy we have used the SAP use case which really helped us. Data analysing with visual insights was top of the eye during tracking and monitoring the prediction process setup in production site.
SAP Business Technology Platform integrates seamlessly but AWS will be choice for non SAP environments
