SAP Data Warehouse Cloud was the only solution that was able to separate the costs of storage from the computing costs and its pricing was extremely advantageous for us to create a new data warehouse that was resilient to business and technology changes. The biggest benefits are central availability of data related to clients and products, elimination of discrepancies across applications, and the ability to efficiently answer business questions, including analysis of trends over time

Makes everyone's life easier by offering a much more scalable and flexible data architecture, providing better data, and also saving us money

Performing queries on varying data types from multiple sources to quickly extract critical insight

Cons

Optimizations need to be planned accordingly to avoid the solution become expensive quickly
After results have been generated, no option available to customize column order

Return on Investment

Data delivered in minutes and not days, with data marts updated near instantaneously
Through automation team productivity has increased tremendously
It handles 10 times the amount of data while experiencing better performance
Saves a huge amount of money compared to our previous hosted environment
