Within our organization, SAP ERP is being used in different departments wherever business processes are applicable to SAP solution. e.g. Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Order to Cash, Customer Returns, Warranty/Exchange, Warehouse, 3PL Warehouse, Retail Store cases, Forecast to Delivery, Financial planning to Report, Plan to Inventory etc.
It provided a solution for many more business processes than given above. For us, SAP ERP connects well with upstream & downstream systems (SAP & Non-SAP) with different types of interfaces very effectively that was the problem in the past. Also, we are working towards to merge non-SAP system/processes within SAP systems for a centralized solution to decrease maintenance cost.
