Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA Cloud

It stores data in its memory which makes data processing and management really easy. Data stored in HANA Cloud is accessible from anywhere in the world. I think the Cloud platform is the most popular platform in the enterprise segment. It comes with many features, including the data security it offers.

Pros

  • SAP HANA Cloud can help drive data analytics, data migration, and data management exceptionally well.
  • It offers an integration service that lets you integrate data and processes with 3rd party app or any other cloud app.
  • In-memory capability helps in faster data processing.

Cons

  • Integration service offers 3rd party app integration, which is really cool, but it is time-consuming and not easy to integrate.
  • ROI has always been high in terms of the functionality that it offers and the security features it comes with.
  • Managing large volumes of data in real-time is not an easy task, but it does it pretty well with faster data processing.
We use very heavy databases, and it is not easy to manage the challenges these large databases create. SAP HANA offered effortless and swift access to data because of its in-memory data-storing capability. Another advantage is you can integrate it with other data sources or apps. Be it a 3rd party app or any other cloud-based app.
Every data processing activity requires different types of data, and SAP HANA supports most of them, including relational, text, graph etc. The spatial data processing for location-based business app development is worth a feature offered by SAP HANA Cloud.
The integration of data with 3rd party app consumes lots of time. Otherwise, this is a great tool for data processing and management.

It helped me in managing Master data management (MDM) for a supply chain work. The integration to the 3rd party app was really challenging and time taking, but it was worth the waiting. You can host huge data volumes and access them in real-time; that's the beauty of SAP HANA Cloud.
