Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integrated Business Planning

We have implemented SAP Integrated Business Planning for demand planning and supply planning processes for multiple business units. The goal for the implementation was to have centralized visibility on the demand numbers and KPIs across business units and to achieve one demand number concept in our company.

It's a user friendly application, as interface just is built as Excel add in. All the Excel capabilities can be applied without effort by the planners. Even the customer master data maintenance is easier, it can maintained using Excel adding. Formatting and presenting the numbers at the s&op meeting for consensus is easier with the Excel interface.

Integration with other systems: As we had SAP ECC and sap s4hana in all the business units, we were able to deploy the play book easier with ease using the CPI DS. Scalability: Single tenant can be used by multiple business units by creating different Planning areas with ease. We can bifurcate the supply planning and demand planning areas and also have a holistic dashboards across the planning areas.
System integration: CPI DS landscape allowed to integrate with the SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA with ease.
Ecosystem: As most of the systema were of SAP landscape, choosing SAP Integrated Business Planning has given a sense of confidence.
Higher Futuristic roadmaps: SAP Integrated Business Planning had gen AI and AI incorporated roadmap making it more impressive.

SAP Integrated Business Planning serves well to get the data from the other SAP products with its strong integration capabilities. It has Excel based UI which is easier for the business users to do demand and supply review. Business users find the tool productive for the planning processes. Need more innovative features like dynamic hierarchical setups and profile based keyfigure displays.
