Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite
We use the SAP Integration Suite ( Cloud Platform Integration and Smart Data Integration ) to be able to send data from one organizations on-prem system to cloud system or from Success Factors to Org system or One client system to another and so on. From Using CPI for over a year now, i can say that the palette options are really useful, it is much more user friendly compared to SDI. The mapping logics can be easily implemented and as it allows scripts, any complex logic can also be added easily to the flow. Overall CPI is really great, SDI needs improvement in terms of options available.
- Adding client requested logic via mapping
- Moving large amounts of data from one system to another
- Various adapters available for all scenarios
- SAP SDI could use more palette options
- SDI tends to be slower
- SDI overall does not stand to the standards of CPI in terms of usability
- SDI could use more monitoring / error handling options
- It has been successful in most scenarios of client integration
- CPI has been very friendly to finish work on time
- SDI takes more time to do the job because of its lesser features
SAP Integration Suite includes integration capabilities enabling cloud on on premises application, device, and data integration. My organization has benefited from these integration capabilities to a large extent and most of what we do in terms of client projects tend to be a success! Thanks to SAP CPI, we are able to meet client requirements efficiently.
SAP Integration Suite helps users translate data into insight by using built-in predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities, although this is available i have not had the opportunity to use it in my projects as of yet. Although, my organisation is one of the best in Data Science and i am sure it is being used efficiently
I have not used any other similar product to the integration suite but i have seen abap being used to a large extent in every project of ours which has been extremely useful as well in terms of the functional side. We selected integration suite as it is most relevant for our requirements.
