Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite
We are now migrating from PI/PO on prem to SAP Integration Suite , and eventually taking our SAP on prem systems to the cloud. We currently have one phase migrated , tested and moved into production. so far it is working pretty well with a few hiccups along the way. I can see where the flexibility SAP Integration Suite has over PI/PO , one draw back i find i personally do not like is the way messages are monitored and the way the payloads are available vs PI/PO. I am still learning the ropes of this new application btuso far for the most part i can say i like it better than PI/PO.
Pros
- migration is fairly simple
- integration flexibility
- ease of use with integration building for artifacts
- Cleaner look than PI/PO
Cons
- message monitoring
- payload viewing
- cost of the data that is transmitted
- so far what little we have been using it seems good
- will no more after we finish the migration
- I do think it will help our business be more efficient
currently migration to the SAP Integration Suite from PI/PO . once that migration is complete we will be moving our SAP S4 HANA from on prem to the cloud. I think with a lot of the solutions that are offered will benefit our organization with all of our finance and procurement workflows .
too soon to tell yet as we are still in the migration phase. moving from PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite should help us be more flexible with our integrations going forward. What small part we have went live with seems to work well . but more to come on that down the road.
Cloud SAP Integration Suite seems to be a more flexible platform than PI/PO other than the message monitor , hopefully this will be something updated in the near future. The deployment of new interfaces seems to be more seem less than what we currently use and i cannot wait to get into the application more to see what it can do.
