Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

In our organization, we use SAP Integration Suite for Integration between S/4HANA and external systems.

Pros

  • Platform stability
  • Extensibility

Cons

  • facilitating or building file based integration without the need of a separate secure file server
  • pricing structure based on message volume.
Ease of extensibility and development of 3rd party integration - we've been able to use SAP Integration Suite to build integration with our 3rd party logistics provider and e-commerce platform, Shopify.
Not in use currently but exploring proactive monitoring.

If asked, I think I am likely to recommend SAP Integration Suite to a colleague because, in my experience, SAP Integration Suite has Minimal maintenance and administration compared to on-premise PI / PO (process integration / process orchestration).
