Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite)

I use SAP Integration Suite for my organization's annual objective creation, employee record-keeping & career tracking, and timekeeping/payroll. SAP enables our team to maintain employee records from onboarding to severance, regardless of the individual's employment journey throughout their tenure within the organization. SAP also enabled our team to track employee performance, attendance reliability, and pay/benefits/confidential HR data in a single, unified platform.
  • Timekeeping
  • Objective tracking
  • Employment history
  • Personnel details
  • More automated timekeeping - esp. in relation to repetitive scheduling for hourly employees.
  • Improved attendance/reliability tracking (this is a primary metric for our organization, so it needs to be as accurate and intuitive as possible).
  • More robust/relational objective creation/tracking (this might be very difficult for a multi-organizational solution, but adding a deeper relationship/connection between objectives and day-to-day work would go a long way toward employee engagement across the org.
  • Streamlined objective creation/cascading
  • Enabled consistent, single-point employee record-keeping
  • Integrated timekeeping & payroll into a single platform
Our organization has definitely benefitted from cloud support of on-premises application integration. My team has not been on-premises for nearly two years, and the cloud capabilities have kept us up and running at peak efficiency while working remotely. When we migrated our timekeeping and payroll functions to SAP, one of the less-than-ideal outcomes was our leadership's requirement to review and approve timesheets prior to running payroll (a role that was previously centralized under a supporting Dept), but the cloud capabilities kept the effort minimal and enabled us to complete our tasks on our personal mobile devices, which is a big help.
Our organization (or at least my team) doesn't use predictive analytics or machine learning to analyze or seek to improve the functions we utilize most often within SAP, so I would have to say either it's an underutilized feature for future consideration, or I am simply unaware of how we are utilizing it.
I did not select SAP Integration Suite; I am merely a user and the decision was made above my leadership level. What I can say is that our organization previously had much different timekeeping and employee record retention platforms, and there was a notable lack of consistency in how we handled time and pay prior to integration of those elements into our SAP suite; I can also say that SAP enables us to fulfill those roles completely, so while I am unaware of competing platforms' ability to do the same, SAP checks the boxes.

Yes

Would you buy SAP Integration Suite again?

Yes

My organization uses the SAP Integration Suite primarily for interdepartmental/cross-functional operations and support needs, i.e., timekeeping, payroll, maintaining confidential employee records, and annual organizational objective creation and tracking. The flexibility of the SAP platform makes objective creation easy and customizable to add tasks or goalposts in order to keep our team on track and ensure project/objective success!
