My short review of SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

access to all the new tech through support/feature packs, faster updates, up to date patching. use of the latest Fiori applications and existing SAP gui apps run faster on SAP private cloud.

Pros

  • notification of issues with the system
  • supported by SAP
  • enables all cloud systems to connect easily
  • faster to adopt new apps

Cons

  • faster ways to deploy fiori, rather than using catalog method
  • updates to the PM module, has not changed in 20 years
  • We have implemented the technology, and starting the transformation
  • faster response and uptime, definitely a benefit
  • ability to adopt many new Fiori app and improve processes in finance
  • difficult to implement the new kit quickly
No issues so far, being accountable for the systems I see the immediate benefits, the whole of business are yet to realise the what is availabe

Company is moving to Cloud to reduce costs, SAP was one of the first products to move into cloud
We have just started the AI journey. Currently working with the folks in the Brisbane office to assist with a plan, to implement AI for SF, Consultants, Developers, Concur

peace of mind that SAP are looking after the system while I am asleep. no late nights, issues are sent asap from SAP myself as notifications
