Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA 2023 Private Cloud is used as our core ERP system to streamline and integrate major business processes across departments. It helps us replace manual tasks, reduce system fragmentation, and provide real-time visibility into operations. We have used the following products: FICO, Procurement & Supplier Management(Ariba), and Sales & Distribution.

Pros

  • Updated balances the moment a transaction posts.
  • Instant profitability analysis.
  • Live cash position reports.
  • Fully automated approval workflows.
  • Smart suggestions for the best suppliers.
  • Automated e-invoicing, DRC.

Cons

  • Too many Fiori apps with overlapping names (“Manage…”, “Display…”, “Monitor…”).
  • Navigation between apps can feel scattered instead of centralized.
  • Some apps lack consistency in filters, layouts, or available fields.
  • Limited Reporting Customization.
  • Dependency on SAP Roadmap.
  • With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, infrastructure and maintenance costs dropped significantly. No need for on-premise servers.
  • No database or hardware upgrades.
  • Automatic quarterly updates reduce IT support burden.
It supports Modern UI with SAP Fiori, providing Guided Processes and consistency across modules.
