Overall Satisfaction with Savant Labs

We use Savant to automate reports that the operation needs, this reports needed to be as live as possible and since Power BI reporting does not have those direct connections to our data warehouse in Snowflake Savant came in and saved us. We now have all of our automated reports, updates, emails programmed with Savant with the most up to date data, in addition, we can have dynamic filtering, do transformations to the data before it gets send, choose the format for this data, is really all over the place.

Pros

  • Automate repetitive task and reports
  • Connect to your data source for live data
  • it's very simple to use, create an analysis and automate it is really easy
  • all the different data sources is compatible with, even slack

Cons

  • Let the user implement HTML code to the automated emails
  • let you sync again with the data source when a new column is added without the need to re run the bot
  • dark theme.
  • We can rely on Savant to reduce our capacity units from our power bi license by automating reports there
  • we don't have to worry about sending emails with new data all the time
  • We needed 2 people for our data pull request demand with Savant just 1 person can maintain the entire reporting system
Because it has made things much easier for us, sometimes the stake holders need the data in a certain way in a certain time and with Savant that's not a problem anymore, in fact we are able to customize a little bit more the emails and not send any if there is nothing to report on which is great.
It's just better, modern, simple and faster

if you need to automate reports pulling information directly from your data source Savant is the tool you need, it's very simple, easy to set up and also it's very reliable, we've never had a time where the service is down and that's something worth mentioning because making something easy to use and reliable is not easy.
