Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring
SharpSpring is being used by our entire organization. We're using it as a tool for lead generation. Our objective is to warm up current prospects, connect with new prospects and manage relationships with current and former clients. As a Sharpspring reseller, we're interested in developing and managing lead generation programs for clients in need of this service.
Pros
- Sharpspring is good at providing me with a daily activity report. Because we've only been using it for six months, some of the reports are a little discouraging as we notice many people engaging but not yet purchasing services from us.
- Sharpspring is fabulous at customer service. Most of the time there is a live person we can talk to and the company is very eager to please us. They are open to feedback and extremely helpful at answering questions.
- Formatting e-mails is a breeze and anyone in the company can do it.
- The new services - landing pages, etc., are encouraging.
Cons
- With a certain amount of frequency I hear from my staff that "Sharpspring is down right now." That's very frustrating as we have plans to run campaigns on specific days and need to meet specific deadlines.
- It's not as intuitive as Salesforce was so I had a more difficult time getting used to finding my data. Also could be that my team doesn't fully use it to its full capacity. Salesforce + Pardot have more capabilities, but Sharpspring - I'm told - is easier to use.
- Would love to see Sharpspring offer a limited (no more than 2 - 3) number of tutorials on best practices for e-mail marketing. We get most of this information from HubSpot.
- We're starting to see more people connecting with us through our monthly e-blasts. We have been tracking our leads through Visual Visitor, but now I'm noticing that Sharpspring is able to track leads that are currently within our database.
- So far, we've had at least two inquiries from clients who had been dormant. So I guess it's working.
I liked Salesforce but it was a bit cumbersome, and we were using it more as a database. Sharpspring is much more functional. I like the fact that SharpSpring is month to month, so I don't have to worry about long-term commitments. This is a huge bonus for us. Also love the fact that I get to be a reseller and SharpSpring is able to generate incremental revenue for my company.
