Overall Satisfaction with simPRO

To manage/create quotes, and manage equipment, vans, and projects within the business. We wanted to use the system to help manage the business as a whole and have a single place to manage the quotes for our customers and projects so that we could see what was happening easily. We also wanted a way for the engineers to sign off jobs when they were onsite. The initial problem was that we were having 3/4 places where quotes were located and project documents were stored.
  • Management of plant equipment
  • Management of projects
  • Converting quotes into projects.
  • Managing a project in an easy way and managing the labour for a job.
  • having the flexibility to manage labour days and not in just hours.
  • Plant / tester management
  • Project management
  • Didn't get what we were fully looking for out of it. Negative impact on ROI. was easier to set up and you can create boards with loads of subtasks which helps manage a project. Also, the ability to integrate with google was much better as we could link it to the calendar and also store documents that the engineers could see easier onsite. Overall we could make work better for our business based on how we are set up but simPRO will be great for other businesses with more specific needs.

Do you think Simpro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Simpro's feature set?

Did Simpro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Simpro go as expected?

Would you buy Simpro again?

No, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
It's well suited for a larger company where they have a large number of plant equipment and projects which are based around hours and multiple people being involved. The quotes themselves were a bit difficult for us to use and it struggled to link with Sage so we would need to do everything twice.
