Overall Satisfaction with SMTP2GO
Dantel has older equipment installed at thousands of locations that does NOT support the NEW, High-Security protocols. SMTP2GP provides and inexpensive service to process simple email messages from our older equipment using plain SMTP protocol. Dantel has been using SMTP2GO successfully for over 10 years in this application. Dantel recommends SMTP2GO for all applications that do NOT support high-security.
Pros
- Process old (SMTP) email with no hassles.
- Upgradable accounts for high-volume.
- Inexpensive service that is hard to find elsewhere.
Cons
- Dantel processes only simple, text-based email messages using SMTP. More sophisticated users can answer this question better than I can.
- Easy access for plain SMTP users and devices.
- Upgradable service.
- Easy setup.
- With so few services supporting plain SMTP protocol, SMTP2GO is essential for our legacy business.
Dantel has been using SMTP2GO for so long, and so effectively, I can't remember what other choices were available (then or now). Why change when something is working?
