Overall Satisfaction with SMTP2GO
The organization website uses PHP programming with PHP-Mailer code to interface with SMTP2GO as a mail service. Periodically we issued emails to our membership regarding upcoming events and other membership matters. Previous we had used an interface with Google GMAIL accounts to accomplish this task. but a year ago Google made authenticating with their servers much more difficult if not impossible.
Thus the search for a alternative. SMTP2GO was a ideal choice. The Free Plan is adequate as far as monthly volume, but we elected to pay for the Starter Plan as we needed to issue a larger number of emails at one time than the Free Plan would allow.
The service has been very reliable, easy to manage, and provides nice status responses.
