Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Engineer's Toolset
Some of the modules included with the toolset are invaluable, such as the bandwidth interface monitors and other monitoring modules. It's useful to have locally installed software that engineers can use without the need to be logged into monitoring or jump servers, or rely solely on using the monitoring system.

- refresh of features is needed
- some tools should be EOL and new ones introduced
- ability to run locally
- easy to use controls
- easy to view results
- the cost is so low Idk that it's even a question
- network engineers find the tool valuable
- system admins find the tool valuable
To be honest, I'm not aware of any other toolset from a competitor that is remotely comparable. All other monitoring systems/vendors tend to use standard browser viewable monitoring systems and the option to use a locally installed software, to obtain the same results is not possible AFAIK. So I can't say that I've used any other similar tool from another company.
