Overall Satisfaction with SourceForge

We have a new to market SaaS product that we are trying to get exposure and generate new customers for. SourceForge showcases our solution at the top of our relevant categories, and sends us unlimited clicks for one flat fee. We also get really good buyer intent data which we can import to our CRM and use for outbound sales to in-market buyers.

Pros

  • Lots of traffic
  • Great customer support
  • Really easy to get started and optimized

Cons

  • Would be nice to be able to add more videos, but they say that’s coming
  • We need an API for buyer intent data, but that’s apparently coming in Q4
  • New customer generation / conversions
  • Great exposure for our brand
  • Has helped us establish ourselves in the market
SourceForge is super easy to use and very intuitive. And their support team and campaign managers help whenever we need it. Using SourceForge as a user is easy, and administrating a business software listing is easy as well. They also have great documentation.

So far SourceForge has been instrumental for us as a SaaS product that’s somewhat new to market to get our name out there and start generating awareness and new business. SourceForge sends us quite a lot of traffic which is helping us grow. So far so good.
