Overall Satisfaction with Stormboard

I use Stormboard as a tool to help organize ideas in the innovation projects
conducted by my team. It is a support tool used in brainstorming
sections made with different teams of the company. It helps us to unify
all the information collected and create diagrams of the workflows used
by each area of the company. With this information in hand, we start the
open innovation process, where we look for disruptive solutions
available in the market that can help to improve the mapped workflows.
  • Helping in the collaboration between people working remotely.
  • Acting as a support tool for brainstorming sections
  • Creation of shareable templates.
  • The layout could be more modern.
  • Design is not as responsible as in other popular collaboration platforms.
  • It could be easier to create new teams in a automated way.
  • It is hard to manage all the teams that you are part of (especially if you are in a lot of them)
  • Whiteboard creation.
  • Ability to create and manage teams with different collaborators.
  • Ability to create and share templates with collaborators inside my company.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Increased the assertiveness of information collected at the beginning of projects.
  • Increased the participation of collaborators on online meetings.
  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
When compared to Mural, Stormboard has a less modern user interface. On the other hand, they stand out with their trial program, which is very intuitive and well constructed. They also have a better price for small teams, which made a difference in the buying process.

Airtable, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Typeform
Stormboard is a good platform if you want to conduct collaborative
sections with remote workers or even with people sitting next to you. It
is also really good to create templates that you want to share with
other teams. Stormboard also works fine for project management, acting as a good tool to summarize all the information related to that project.
