Overall Satisfaction with Storyblocks

Storyblocks in an invaluable resource for my internal marketing and the video production I provide for my clients. The vast selection of videos, audio and other digital assets is fantastic. The piece of mind of using footage with the properly licenses is worth every penny. It is also a significant time saving tool. I don't have to create, stage and shoot b-roll or supporting videos, and audio.

  • Background footage, great for overlaying text and info.
  • Time lapse and unique styles to choose from.
  • The Search function is limited, it can take some time to find the right footage.
  • The site can get hung up occasionally.

Storyblocks is significantly better for videos. Pexels is better for photography. Pexels doesn't have audio, so no competition there. I have found these two resources to be complimentary and great to use for client promotions and educational videos

Many of clients want promotional videos and do not have any footage to provide. With only an audio file from my clients, I can create an impactful promotional video.
