Overall Satisfaction with Stripe Payments

I use Stripe Payments daily for client payments. So far, I have not figured out how to add the processing fee to clients that have subscription payments.

Pros

  • Integrates with Xero.
  • Easy payments for clients.
  • reconciliation.

Cons

  • Show less coding unless requested.
  • separates processing fee into separate transaction when feeding into Xero.
  • processing fee not processing on subscription/recurring payments.
  • Lowered processing fees.
  • having to manual enter recurring payments to capture processing fees.
  • Less time processing client payments on my end.
Stripe Payments is particularly easy to use on it's own, but it's integration with Xero is what makes it the best option for our firm.
In my opinion, Authorize was as old as the hills and did not link payments to the Xero invoice.

Stripe Payments is great payment tool for our firm as most clients pay by card. I do not use the ACH feature of Stripe Payments as I believe the process is too confusing for clients especially over the age of 60.
