Overall Satisfaction with Symantec Data Loss Prevention
We are currently using Symantec Data Loss Prevention for the organization. We utilize the endpoint prevent, web prevent, smtp prevent, network monitor, network discover, and endpoint discover. With any DLP product we are always tuning to get the best data from the tool and reduce uncontrollable false positives. There are so many things you are able to modify with Symantec in order to customize to your organization's specific need. I am still looking to learn how to utilize there Data Analytics, Data Insight, and Flex Connectors. Also, the new version 14 is a nice change in the interface, provides more details regarding db health, agent status, and grouping for DLP policies.
- Default DLP policies that work out of the box.
- Modular approach for detection servers.
- Ability to customize almost everything.
- Feels like the user agent still needs work.
- Report grouping for incidents.
